Betty Jean Wright, age 80, died May 25, 2019 at Life Care Center of Centerville. She was born March 26, 1939 on Beaver Creek in Hickman County TN to Edward and Ruby (Nash) Petty.

Jean is survived by Jim Wright, her husband of 64 years. Her sisters, Jessie Lee Harris, Patricia Allen and Brenda Stoltz and a brother, Joe Petty. Her children, Gary (Kita) Wright, Dean (Lisa) Wright and Angela (John) West. Her grandchildren, Misty (Jonathon) Aydelott, Christopher (Arielle) Wright and Amanda (Cody Haines) West. Her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Nevaeh, Ellie, Mathew, Wyatt and Edwin.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Marie Tune and Kathleen Petty and her brother Eddie Petty. Jean and Jim enjoyed music and dancing together.

She worked at Genesco, was a homemaker and loved and cared for more than 40 children. Most of all, she loved her family.

Visitation with the family will be held on 28 May 2019, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and 29 May 2019 from 12 Noon – 3:00PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Funeral Services will be held on 29 May 2019 at 3:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.
