Virginia Lee Scroggins, of the Little Lot Community, died March 27, 2022, at St. Thomas Hickman Nursing Home in Centerville, Tennessee, at the age of 86 years. Gin, as she was affectionally known, was born in Duck River, Tennessee, on January 6, 1936, to the late Horace and Mary Smith Copley.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to her parents, Gin was preceded in death by her husband Steve Scroggins and sisters, Maizelle Potts and Faye Baker.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Scroggins is survived by her daughter Jody England and her husband Marty, her son Stevie Scroggins and his wife Dianne, sisters, Evelyn Witt and Charlene Breece, and brothers, Horace Copley, Jr., Bobby Copley, and Jimmy Copley. She is also survived by grandchildren Stephanie Garrette and Tyler Scroggins, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gin loved being with her family and was a doting and loving Mimi to all of her grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Visitation with the family will be 30 March 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman Co.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be held 31 March 2022 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Little Lot Cemetery, Duck River, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
