She was 97 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was the daughter of John Pinkerton and Myrtle Shepard Pinkerton.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Elgie Pinkerton and sister, Louise O&#8217;Guin, her long-time best friend, Ruth Reece, her husband of 54 years, Ray Morrison and her son, Bobby Morrison. Along with her in death was her beloved dog and companion of 14 years,\u00a0 LB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by several great-nieces and nephews, her caring neighbors and friends, and her beloved and loyal caregivers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Claudine and Ray were married on April 24, 1946, when he was at home on leave. She likes to tell the story that they married so quickly she was still wearing rollers in her hair!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She and Ray were baptized on September 10, 1960, by Bro. Paul Rogers after their son Bobby started going to VBS. She was a long-time worker at the Outreach Center getting the messenger prepared for mailing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In her earlier years, she loved to fish, play dominos with friends, go square dancing, and ride the roads with Ruth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bobby Morrison Scholarship Fund at the Centerville Church of Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Claudine-Morrison\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 13 Feb 2022 from 12;00 &#8211; 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be 13 Feb 2022 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman Co.\u00a0 Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"services-events\">\n<div class=\"services-content\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Johnnie Claudine Pinkerton Morrison was born on November 1, 1924, at her home in Briar Pond and passed away at her home in Centerville on February 11, 2022.
