Mr. Netherton was born is Spartansburg, SC on July 6, 1945, to the late D.B. Netherton and Dorothy Gowen Smith.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">On March 23, 1970, Eddie married the love of his life Mrs. Linda Fisher and in their 51 years of marriage they raised two beautiful twin daughters. Mr. Eddie made a career as a diesel mechanic working for G.M. and owning his own shop here in Hohenwald, South Park Service Center. \u00a0He always enjoyed fixing various vehicles and many would call on him for his help. In his down time, he enjoyed singing while playing his guitar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with his wife he is survived by his daughters, Augest Lineberry (Mitchell) and Autumn Runions, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, a brother James (Wanda) Netherton, and his sister Kathy (Peter) Lowery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">To honor Mr. Eddies wishes there will be no services and he will be laid to rest later with his family.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Eddie Netherton, 76, peacefully passed away at his Hohenwald home surrounding by his loving family on January 22, 2022.
