Ms. Carroll was born on October 26, 1931, to the late Arthur L. and Betty W. Webb Carroll in Hohenwald, TN. \u00a0She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Carroll.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ms. Carroll leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Barbara \u201cLynn\u201d Brown (Burl); two nephews, James Terry Carroll and Bradley Brown; and one great nephew, Stephen Carroll.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Joan was a member of Pineview Church of Christ where she was a devoted member in the ladies\u2019 classes held there. In her spare time, she enjoyed all things outdoors. Joan spent countless hours in her gardens often producing some of the most beautiful display of flowers or taking leisurely walks to enjoy the scenery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN,\u00a0 with Brother Bobby Carroll officiating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On December 21, 2021, Ms. Joan Carroll peacefully passed away at AHC Lewis County at the age of 90.
