She was born in Beaumont, TX on November 11, 1944 to the late Midgie and Sara Barrow. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mr. James Brown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ms. Verna is survived by her loving son, William Brown and daughter-in-law, Nicole Brown; grandchildren, William, Emma, Walker, and Mason Heverly Brown, and Darren Lee; special friend, Jillian Taylor; and brothers, Rob and Leroy Brown, both from Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm\u00a0\u00a0Sunday, August 22, 2021 in the chapel of Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation.
