Linda Sue Garrett, of Lyles, Tennessee, was born on July 17, 1948, in Columbia, Tennessee, to the late Andrew Jackson and Irene Cox Hendrickson and died July 31, 2021, at the age of 73 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Garrett, and her brother, Andrew Jackson Hendrickson.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Garrett is survived by her sons Andy Garrett and Allen Garrett, her sister Maryann Handy, and her grandchildren, Jackson Adair Epley, Juniper Madeline Epley, and Anastasia Beatrice Campbell Garrett.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Garrett attended the Centerville United Methodist Church and was the choir director for 16 years. Linda was a school teacher for 27 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those wishing to make a donation in remembrance of Linda’s life may do so to the Hickman County Humane Society.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with the Garrett family will be Thursday, August 5, 2021, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral with Devin Pickard officiating.
