He was born in Washington, D.C. to the late James Henry and Opal Calhoun Goodman on November 3, 1952.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Larry was a jack of all trades allowing him to have a successful construction business before moving on to become a building inspector. He eventually would retire from the business after 30+ years. Once retired, he took the time to slow down and enjoy his classic rock music and heading to the river for some fishing. On quieter days he would sit back and relax and watch his favorite hot rods on T.V.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Goodman is survived by his two sons, Jason (Zhanna June) Goodman and James Goodman; two sisters, Lisa and Laura; and his grandchildren, Aubree and Silicia Goodman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A private celebration of life will take place at the family home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Larry Gene Goodman, 68, of Linden, unexpectedly passed away at his residence.
