She was born in Nashville, TN on June 29, 1959 to the late Clarence Burns &amp; Lula Mae (Quillen) Burns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Betty-Averett\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She worked for the Hohenwald Housing Authority for many years as the resident coordinator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Betty-Averett\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her Daughter, Allyson Averett, Considered A Sister (Cousin),\u00a0 Lisa Harlow and grand-dogs.
