He was born on October 20,1939 in Herculaneum, MO to the late John Joseph and Evelyn A (York) Greenlee.\u00a0 Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Terry Greenlee, Patricia Braddy, and Dennis Greenlee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">After leaving the military Mr. Greenlee began his lifelong career in the trucking industry. There was no downtime for the hard-working driver. His career totaled 39 years and 29 days of hauling steel products with Tennessee Steel Haulers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Greenlee leaves behind his wife of 44 years Mrs. Bettye Ashley Greenlee; children Jonathan D. (J.D.) Greenlee, Sandra Kay Greenlee, Michael Joseph Greenlee Jr., Matthew J. Greenlee, James Robert &#8220;Bobby&#8221; Greenlee, Donald R. &#8220;Donnie&#8221; Greenlee, and Michael Joseph &#8220;Mikey&#8221;\u00a0Greenlee III; 22 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother Charles Greenlee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">There are currently no services planned for his wishes were to be cremated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Michael Joseph Greenlee 81 of Linden passed away Monday June 1,2021 at the Perry County Nursing Home.
