He was born to the late James and Hazel (Chester) Duncan in Lewis County on December 19,1957. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Edwin Duncan. He loved his job at Genesco and even after an accident he immediately returned working until later retiring to enjoy his free time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Barry or \u201cpumpkin\u201d as some would call him was a selfless man that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed being at home people watching and chatting with neighbors about the events unfolding. He had an immeasurable passion for his U.T. Vols, Bob Seger, and cats. \u00a0His true pride and joy in life was \u201cBB\u201d whom he loved bigger than anything. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Duncan leaves behind his daughter Brittany (Justin) Sanders; and siblings Shirley Duncan and Terry Duncan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">No services are currently planned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the morning of May 13, 2021 Mr. Barry Donald Duncan unexpectedly passed away at his Hohenwald home at the age of 63.
