{"id":8388,"date":"2021-03-31T11:43:18","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T15:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/?p=8388"},"modified":"2021-03-31T11:45:04","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T15:45:04","slug":"bryant-william-thaddeus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/bryant-william-thaddeus\/","title":{"rendered":"Bryant, William T"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In the early morning hours of March 24, 2021 Mr. William Thaddeus (Budd) Bryant peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bryant was born in Macon, Georgia on January 20,1940 to the late Gaines F. and Clara Juanita (Bernard) Bryant.\u00a0 Along with his parents, Budd was preceded in death by five grandchildren known only to God. He made his career as a Forms Manager for Regions bank before retiring to enjoy the outdoors and time spent with family.\u00a0 On January 20,1973 he married his true soul mate- Ms. Coral Lee and together raised two daughters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Bryant was a member of Collinwood Baptist Church. Throughout his life he exemplified the call to be God\u2019s hands and feet. He was always anticipating the needs of others around him whether it was family or a stranger. He lived up to his name, a resolute protector who was worthy of praise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">During his free time, Mr. Budd enjoyed woodworking, golf, being outdoors, and checking off the tasks on his honey do list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with his wife of 48 years, Mr. Bryant leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters Marilyn Jeanette Bryant Gore (Gerald) and Melanie June Bryant Oswalt (Louis); a brother Robert Farette Bryant (Betty); a special cousin who was like a brother Thomas Julian Sapp (Melanie); and grandchildren Kathryne June Oswalt, and Elizabeth Clara Oswalt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A memorial service will be held Saturday April 10, 2021 at 12:00 at Collinwood Baptist Church in Collinwood, TN.\u00a0 The family will receive friends for visitation at 11:00 until time of service. Brother David Byrd will be officiating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in honor of Mr. Bryant to St. Jude\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospital,\u00a0Gideons International, or Samaritans Purse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">For those in attendance the family requests that facial coverings be worn and to maintain the social distancing guidelines:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">* Wash your hands often;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">* Avoid touching your face; and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the early morning hours of March 24, 2021 Mr. William Thaddeus (Budd) Bryant peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family.
