Floy Mai Gatewood was born on October 2, 1928, in Tennessee and passed away on March 21, 2021, in Columbia. She was 92 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is the daughter of the late Jim D. Cude and Dellie Maie Smith Cude.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was also preceded in death by her husband Elbert Leo (Buster) Gatewood along with her siblings JD Cude, WT Cude, Mary Reeder, and Roy Cude.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is survived by her daughter Earline (Bill) Warren. Sons Gary (Becky) Gatewood, Ronny (Judy) Gatewood, and Tim (Donna) Gatewood. Granddaughters Megan (Robert) Kent, Lauren (Corbin) Barr, and Emily (Justin) Atkinson. Grandsons Brett (Katie) Gatewood, Lan (Emily) Warren, and Ryan (Alyssa) Gatewood. Great Grandchildren Avery Kent, Hannah Kent, David Gatewood, Ben Gatewood, Tate Atkinson, Paisley Gatewood, and Levi Warren. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was a member of the Nunnelly United Methodist Church.<\/span><\/p>\n

Services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. on Friday all at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, TN.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Rev. Jim Melrose and Wanda Turner will officiate services.\u00a0 <\/span>Burial will follow services at the Lowes Bend Cemetery in Nunnelly, Tennessee.<\/span><\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lowes Bend Cemetery Fund, to the Nunnelly United Methodist Church, or the Centerville Church of Christ Day School.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
