She was a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and a homemaker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim B. and Doris Toone Dodson, and one brother, Bill Dodson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her husband, Ricky Garland of Lawrenceburg; one son, Jesse Garland (Patti Armer) of Yuma, Arizona; two brothers, Ronald Dodson (Karen) of Hohenwald, and John Dodson of Culleoka; five sisters, Inez Ogle of Sevierville, Cathy Stewart (Dwayne) and Brenda Oliver of Lawrenceburg, Barbara Vernier Hanback of Hohenwald, and Becky Morton Kiser (Kevin) of Culleoka; several nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home Lawrenceburg. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A celebration of life will be held at a later date.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vicky &#8220;Spitsfire&#8221; Garland, age 64, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at her residence.
