She was a native of Lewis County, a homemaker, and a member of Summertown Baptist Church. Her kindness was unparalleled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Florene Ashmore Darnell; her husband, David R. Lindsey; infant son; and one brother, Jimmy Darnell.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by two sons, David &#8220;Randy&#8221; Lindsey (Amy) and Darrell &#8220;Rusty&#8221; Lindsey (Marti); two daughters, Deanna Renee Doyle (Billy) and Darla Robin France (Donnie); thirteen grandchildren, Savannah, Summer, Sara Beth, Sydney, Courtney, Jordan, Jacob, Logan, Blake, Chase, Kayla, Coleton, and Kennedy; seven great-grandchildren, Tanish, Gabe, Olivia, Lily Ann, Knoxleigh, Avery, and J Robert; one sister, Edith Perry; seven brothers, Carl Darnell, Bobby Darnell, Larry Darnell, Jerry Darnell, Mike Darnell, Tony Darnell, and Ricky Darnell.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Funeral services were conducted at Neal Funeral Home Saturday, March 6, with Howard Kitter officiating. Interment followed at Lindsey Family Cemetery in Summertown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer&#8217;s Foundation of America.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Betty Lou Lindsey, age 77, of Summertown, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at her residence.
