He married the love of his life, Joyce Keathley, and they were dedicated to their community and the people in it. Terry owned and operated his car dealership and sold insurance for Shelter Insurance here in Hohenwald for many years.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/James-Terry-Keathley\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his grandchildren, Maggie Keathley of Durham, NC, Nick Keathley of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Beth Keathley of Nashville, TN. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/James-Terry-Keathley\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with his wife, Joyce, he is preceded in death by his son, Blake Keathley.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/James-Terry-Keathley\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">F<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">uneral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in the McDonald Funeral Home -Lewis County.\u00a0 A private burial will be held after.\u00a0 Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Saturday in the McDonald Funeral Home -Lewis County as well.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/James-Terry-Keathley\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Due to health concerns, the family requests that masks be worn by everyone in attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"services-events\">\n<div class=\"services-content\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. James Terry Keathley, a beloved life-long resident of Hohenwald, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.\u00a0 He was born on June 3, 1945, to Giles Dodd Keathley &amp; Loudene Roden Keathley.
