Emanuel Wayne Dansby was born on January 8, 1954, in Hickman Co, TN to the late Ernest Jr. Dansby and Bessy Dobbins.<\/span>
\nHe departed this life on February 23, 2021, in Weakley Co, TN.<\/span>Wayne was educated in Hickman Co. at O.H. Bernard in Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was a loving man that could always put a smile on your face. He was always the life of the party, known for cracking jokes. Wayne had a giving heart. If you were in need he was there to give. The love for his children was unconditional. Wayne enjoyed time with his family and friends and he never meet a stranger. When in his presence it was never a dull moment. His favorite sayings was cat daddy, BooBoo, Baby Boy, I’m going to squeeze the pee out of you which was always directed toward his daughters, nieces and great nieces and last but not least (True That) was his trade mark.<\/span><\/p>\n

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Christy Gentry of Memphis TN, and Stephanie Zarzana of Houston Count;\u00a0 son: Manuel Elliot of Dickson TN.<\/span><\/p>\n

Devoted Siblings: Maggie Sue Pigg – Centerville, TN, Ernestine Dansby – Nashville, TN, Eddie Dansby – Nashville, TN, Michael Brown – Centerville, TN. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brother – James Allen Dansby, Sister – Martha Ann Dansby, Sister – Valarie Louise Dansby.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grandchildren: Romeaz Jones, Terrance Gentry, Artuio Zarzana, Iesha Gentry, Cologero Zarzana, Zakiya Zarzana, Sakena Kee, Gabiell Standsbury.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nieces and Nephews: Sidney Pigg, Jackie Pigg, Barry Pigg, Aretha Dansby, Jerry Overton, Tracy Rayburn, and Valerie Dansby. Deceased – Corrissa Dansby.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Visitation will be on 27 Feb 2021 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman Co.\u00a0 A funeral will follow at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.\u00a0 Burial will be at East Side Cemetery, Centerville, TN.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
