Doug was a frequent visitor to the City Caf\u00e9 where he enjoyed sitting and talking to the locals. Mr. Spurgeon was a lifelong member of Bass Masters.\u00a0 On nice days he would head to the Tennessee River to fish with hopes of catching enough to host a family fish fry that evening.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Spurgeon is survived by his wife of 18 years, Mrs. Debbie Spurgeon; children, Christy (Rick) Totton, Leeza Best (Erik Lawson), Cody Best (Samantha Gage); grandchildren, Alex (Kayce) Pulley, Raven Totton (Dawson Potts), Richard Totton, Erryanna Lawson, Lily Best, and Eli Best; great grandchildren Piper Pulley, Elena Totton, and Lynnox Potts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday February 20, 2021 from 1:00-2:00pm in the chapel of Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation Services.
