Margie Nell Garrette Willis was born on April 4, 1930, in Centerville, Tennessee, and passed peacefully at her home in Hohenwald on February 8, 2021. She was 90 years 9 months, and 8 days old.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was the daughter of the late Roy C. Garrette and Elva Lee DeVore Garrette.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leon Willis, siblings, Billy Roy Garrette, Bobby Ray Garrette, Nancy Daugherty, and son-in-law, David Pilkinton.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Willie) Hughes, Marty (Connie) Avery, Debbie Willis, Cindy (Robert) Atkinson, Shane (Tammy) Willis, April Pilkinton, and Leona (Jackie) White. Sisters, Shirley Hinson, Minnie Barber, and Kathy Rice. 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Along with a whole host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was a member of the Grinders Creek Church of Christ, Hohenwald, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County. Steve Holloway, Nathan Duncan, and Shane Willis will officiate. Visitation will be held prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at Milan Cemetery, Centerville, Tennessee.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
