She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on December 14, 2020 in Lyles, TN at the age of 48.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Paula was known for her love for the Lord and for her family, her feisty personality, and her enjoyment of the classic Peanuts films. She served as a substitute teacher for East Hickman High School, and her bond with both students and teachers is fondly remembered. Her favorite pastimes were camping with her husband and watching LSU football.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">She is survived by her husband, Darryl Miller; daughter, Sarah Istre (Jacob); son, Gabriel Miller; stepchildren, Darryl Miller Jr. (Danielle) and Dawn Griffin (Taylor); as well as seven grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A memorial service for Paula Miller will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 2:00 PM at Fairfield Baptist Church in Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to offset funeral expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"services-events\">\n<div class=\"services-content\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paula Faye Miller was born on May 31, 1972 in West Monroe, LA to the late Syble Jones and Robert Sturdivant.
