Valerie Frenice Brown was born June 15, 1961, in Centerville, Tennessee, to the late Fred and Charlie Mae Brown. She departed this life on November 21, 2020, at her home.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Val, as her family and friends called her, graduated from the Trotwood Madison School System in Dayton, Ohio. She worked in customer service and later at H & R Block as a receptionist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Val loved to work in her church and she also enjoyed participating in local plays.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Charlie Mae Brown and her brother Walker L. Fowlkes, two special aunts Annie Mae Perkins and Ruby Nell Gray.<\/span><\/p>\n

She leaves to cherish her memory, her two aunts, June Brown and Carolyn Johnson, a host of cousins and other relatives and a very special friend, Mrs. Frankie Jean Ward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Funeral services for Val will be Monday, November 30, 2020, in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County beginning at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery, Centerville, TN, following the service.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
