He was a member of the Shawnette United Methodist Church in Collinwood, and Collinwood United Methodist Church. He formerly sang bass with the gospel groups, In His Image and The Caltons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Mr. Williams departed this life on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, at the age of 64 years, 11 months and 6 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">He is survived by sons, Jacob Williams and fiancee, Kasandra, of Indio, California and Ben Williams of Collinwood; stepsons, Matt Retherford and Nick Retherford (Angie) all of Collinwood; grandchildren, Ezra, Jude and Merlyn Williams; step-grandchildren, Kristen and Jonah Retherford; and brother, Joe Williams of New Market, Alabama.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Service was held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Shawnette Church in Collinwood with Thad Calton officiating.
