He was born January 30, 1955 in Lewis County to the late James and Lula Mae Curry and was an employee of Davidson County Sheriff\u2019s Office. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jessie D. Curry and Malcolm R. Curry and a sister, Sarah M. Curry. He is survived by his wife, Donna J. Curry, three daughters, Jillian B. Curry, Lacey J. Miller, Krista J. Banks; two sons, Dana E. (Tyi) Whitcomb and Jacob C. Miller; grandchildren, Matthew Morrow, Audrey Morrow, Christian Banks, Jordan Banks, Sheila Duncan, Trey Whitcomb; three brothers, James W. (Jean) Curry, Charlie B. (Kay) Curry, Jerry P. (Connie) Curry; and one sister, Joy (Roger) Curry Hibbs. A celebration of Dick\u2019s life was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, Hadley Chapel, in Old Hickory.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dickie Dwight Curry of Old Hickory, age 56, passed away at his home on February 10, 2011.
