Burial took place in the Charles L. Nickell Memorial Park.\u00a0 Mrs. Shelby was born December 19, 1920 to the late Grover Seiber and Ester Clay Seiber.\u00a0 The wife of the late John T. Shelby, she was a cook for the Hickman County School system and a member of Defeated Creek Church of Christ.\u00a0 Survivors include three sons, Larry Shelby of Clarksville, Roy Shelby and Richard Shelby, both of Centerville; one brother, Virgle Shelby of Hohenwald; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alusie Mae Shelby, age 89 of Centerville, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Hickman Community Nursing Home.\u00a0 Funeral services were held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville with Dennis Tidwell and Bill McDonald officiating.
