McCann, age 78, was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry McDonald and Johnny Clayton officiating. Entombment followed in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.\u00a0 Mrs. McCann died Friday, November 5, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.\u00a0 She was born October 30, 1932 in Gordonsburg to the late John and Ella Burlison Mathis. She was a clerk at the A&amp;W Salvage in Hohenwald. and member of Springer Church of Christ.\u00a0 Survivors include her husband, Edward McCann of Hohenwald; two sons, Mark McCann of Hohenwald and James McCann of Lobelville; two daughters, Melissa Jackson and Alisa Kirby, both of Hohenwald; one brother, Melvin Mathis of Perryville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.\u00a0 She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James, Amos and Elvin Mathis; and two great grandsons, Treyton Isbell and Trenton Devore.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lou W McCann ,\u00a0\u00a0 Funeral services for Lou W.
