Jerry McDonald, pastor of the church, and Glen Floyd, pastor of Freedom Holy Temple Church, officiated. Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery.\u00a0 She was born April 25, 1940 in Grove Oak, Alabama to the late Paul Lee Johnson and Lois Mae Stone Johnson.\u00a0 She is survived by three daughters, Heather Lynn Brewer of Johnson City, Paula Halterman of Waynesville, North Carolina, and Paulette Renee Copley of Davenport, Florida; one brother, Freddie Ted Johnson of Davenport, Florida; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.\u00a0 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Wayne Hays, and grandson, Kristofer Copley.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Patricia Ann Hays, age 70, died October 22, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.\u00a0 Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. October 24, 2010 at New Hope Baptist Church.
