Interment took place in the Graves Cemetery.\u00a0 Mr. Harder was born in Lewis County to the late Carlos Harder and Cyrena Hickerson Harder. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from DuPont at New Johnsonville. He was currently a resident of the Perry County Nursing Home.\u00a0 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Harder Castelle, and a brother, Jamie Harder.\u00a0\u00a0 Survivors include one daughter, Angel (Brian) Moore of Linden; three sons, Barry (Wendy) Harder of Knoxville, Billy (Deborah) Harder of New Johnsonville and Tim Harder of Parsons; two sisters, Sue Hurt of Hohenwald and Imodene Clay of Chattanooga; five grandsons; one great granddaughter and five step grandchildren.\u00a0 Donations may be made in memory of Mr. Harder to the Alzheimer\u2019s Association, 4205 Hillsboro Pike, Suite #216, Nashville, TN 37205.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Buddy Harder, 73, of Linden, died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Perry Memorial Hospital.\u00a0 Funeral services were held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Young Funeral Home with Aaron Warnick officiating.
