Burial took place in the Swiss Cemetery.\u00a0 Mr. Turnbow, a retired clerical\/bookkeeper for the Lewis County Highway Department, was born February 19, 1924 in Lewis County to the late Joe E. Turnbow and Mary Alice Bunch Turnbow. He was married to the late Dorothy Turnbow.\u00a0 Survivors include one son, Craig (Betty) Turnbow of Kingston; two sisters, Zona Edwards of Marietta, Georgia and Vada Williams of Hohenwald; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.\u00a0 In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Turnbow was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Jimmy Turnbow and a brother, DeFellow Turnbow.\u00a0 Family requests that friends who wish to make memorial donations in lieu of flowers be made to the Hohenwald United Methodist Church.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Henry Ford Turnbow, 85, died January 18, 2010 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman.\u00a0\u00a0 Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. January 21, 2010 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with Richard Tate officiating.
