Burial took place in Downey Cemetery.\u00a0 Mrs. Brown was born April 16, 1925 in Lewis County to the late Wilburn Mash and Lettie Mae McCann Mash.\u00a0 Survivors include her husband, James Boyce Brown of Hohenwald; daughter, Gwenda (Terry) Carroll, also of Hohenwald; two sisters, Christine Hunter of Hohenwald and Fay Sargent of Columbia; two grandsons, Justin and Landon Carroll of Murfreesboro.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hazel Brown, 84, died January 5, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.\u00a0\u00a0 Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. January 7, 2010 at McDonald Funeral Home with Ed Brown and Keith Clark officiating.
