Funeral services were held at McDonald Funeral Home December 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Dwayne Sparks officiating. Burial took place in the Deavers Cemetery in Hohenwald. Born March 2, 1926, Mrs. Sims was a daughter of the late Jones Hensley and Lula Flippo Hensley. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two brothers, Leslie Hensley and Billy Joe Hensley, both of Hohenwald; one sister, Pearl Uno, also of Hohenwald; several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilson Lawson, and second husband, Roy Sims.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Susie Jane Sims, 83, died December 16, 2009 at Lewis County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
