He departed this life on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, making his stay in this life 74 years, 1 month, 6 days. He was united in marriage to Shirley White on March 30, 2002. Mrs. Brewer preceded him in death on October 30, 2014. Mr. Brewer was a retired production worker from Murray Ohio. He served his country in the Tennessee National Guard and attended the Waynesboro Church of God. He is survived by his brother, James Edward Brewer and wife Joyce; sister, Pamela Brewer Jaske, all\u00a0 of Waynesboro; step-grandchildren; Ethan Skimehorne and\u00a0 Jessie Skimehorne Rand, husband Trevor;\u00a0 and several loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Nona Jackson Brewer; wife, Shirley White Brewer;\u00a0 brother, Troy C. Brewer;\u00a0 sister, Rachel Brewer Franks; and\u00a0 step-daughter, Linda K. Skimehorne. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro with Tommy Burke officiating. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro.
