T.J. Petway officiating. The young couple came from Swan, procured license, were married and went on their way rejoiced.&nbsp; It was a quite affair, only such friends and well-wishers being present as chanced to be near when the matrimonial buggy drove up and the Esquire, came forth with the authority of state in his hand.&nbsp; The bride is the worthy and attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Duncan of near Salem, Swan.&nbsp; The groom is a farmer of the Indian Creek section where they will reside.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submitted by Sammye Lawson on 2 August 2002.
