She was 72. Funeral service was held Friday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. Artie Collins, pastor of Springer Church of Christ, officiated at the service. Burial was in the Springer Cemetery. A native of Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Mason and ;Maggie Griggs Woodfin. Mrs. Sublet was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Sublett. Survivors include two sons, William (Sonny) Earl Sublett, Jr. and Jerry Sublett of Hohenwald; two brothers, Glen Woodfin of Gadsden, Alabama, and Charles Woodfin of Florence, Alabama; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Martha Jean Sublett of 1327 Summertown Highway died June 19, 2002 at Lewis County Manor.
