{"id":5471,"date":"2020-09-06T05:29:19","date_gmt":"2020-09-06T09:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/?p=5471"},"modified":"2020-09-06T05:29:48","modified_gmt":"2020-09-06T09:29:48","slug":"whisnant-debra-sue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/whisnant-debra-sue\/","title":{"rendered":"Whisnant, Debra Sue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>Debra Sue Whisnant<\/strong><\/em>, 62 of Hohenwald passed away February 28, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.\u00a0 Born in Flint, MI to the late John and Delores (Wyer) King on May 7,1957.\u00a0 Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son Nathan Whisnant and her brother Kenneth King.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mrs. Whisnant enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband often going from coast to coast. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking long hikes in the woods with her two dogs. She and her husband would spend time raising and rehabilitating injured animals in Michigan and continued after their move to Tennessee.\u00a0\u00a0 Debra spent most of her life working as a waitress and enjoyed every minute of meeting new people and making new friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mrs. Whisnant is survived by her Husband Ron Whisnant Sr.; a son Ron Whisnant Jr.; a daughter Brandi King; sisters Brenda King and Kim (Dave) Delecki; nephew David Delecki Jr; and ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A gathering of family and friends will begin tomorrow March 4,2020 at 10:00 in the chapel of Adair Funeral &amp; Cremation services.
