Mr. Ashworth was born November 24,1968 to the late Hollis and Dorothy Ashworth in Wyandotte, Michigan. Eddie was also preceded in death by his sister Joyce Williams of Hohenwald.\u00a0 He worked in the Mill room at Eaton Corporation and \u00a0was also known to be active in training dogs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Eddie enjoyed life to the fullest and never took a single second for\u00a0 granted . He loved sitting down and having conversations\u00a0 whether \u00a0he knew you before or not, and because of this he never met a stranger. \u00a0He enjoyed being outdoors hunting for the biggest deer or turkey or hitting the water to catch some fish.\u00a0 If he wasn\u2019t hunting he could be seen enjoying \u00a0a \u00a0game of softball.\u00a0 He loved \u00a0catching up on Nascar on weekends or\u00a0 attending a local dirt track to watch racing. He was truly a Tennessee native constantly showing his love for UT football.\u00a0 Even with all his life passions nothing compared to his true pride and joy, his daughter, Haley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with his daughter, Haley Grace Ashworth, Mr. Ashworth is also survived by a brother Harold Edward Ashworth; ex-wife Beverly Ashworth, several nieces and nephews and a host of close friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with family and friends will be held Monday February 3rd from 4:00-8:00pm in the Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will continue Tuesday February 4th at 10:00 until time of service at 11:00 with brother Tim Williams officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Milan Cemetery in Centerville.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations be made to the Lewis County\u00a0 Cancer Victims Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eddie Wilburn Ashworth, 51, of Hohenwald passed away at his residence surrounded by family and friends on January 31,2020.
