She was born in Lewis County at the Boyce Clinic on March 29,1959 to the late Lonnie Claude Sims Jr and Alda Mae Robertson Sims Strickland. In her spare time Mrs. Stewart enjoyed heading out for a camping adventure or loading up and heading to yard sales and flea markets.\u00a0 Anyone who met her could instantly tell the love that she carried for her family.\u00a0 She\u2019s been described as a wonderful and loving wife and mother.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mrs. Kathryn is survived by her husband of 45 years Larry Stewart; son Michael Stewart; brothers Chris Strickland and Billy Sims; Nieces Christy (Scott) Greer, Allison Long Gray, and Ashley Gray; nephews Michael Long, Hunter Long, Tony Cissell and Caleb Greer; an aunt Jeanette Sims and several\u00a0 other uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stewart also leaves behind special friends Tony Bennett, Linda Gillespie, Jackie Blanchette, Brandon Blanchette, and Jolene Avrett.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Wilda Sims Hayes Giles and Belinda Jones Sims.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A graveside service is scheduled at Memorial Gardens on Friday December 6,2019 at 1:00pm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In Lieu of flowers a contribution to help offset the funeral expenses is appreciated.
