She graduated Lewis County High School in 1948.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Wilma was married to James \u201cTut\u201d Hamm on December 17,1949; they were married 51 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Throughout her life, Wilma had experience in several careers including working for Genesco as a bookkeeper, the Lewis County Elementary School as a secretary, the Lewis County Trustee\u2019s Office as deputy trustee, and then retired as a homemaker and loving grandmother. Wilma was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother known for her cooking, sewing, painting, crocheting, helping others, and her immense love for her grandchildren. Wilma was a member and actively involved at the Riverside Church of Christ in Hohenwald.\u00a0 She was also a Farm Bureau Board Member in Hohenwald.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Wilma is survived by, daughter, Pamela (Donald) Duncan; sons: James (Kathy) Hamm, Jr. and Keith (Christine) Hamm; grandsons: Elliot (Jessica) Hamm; Collin (Megan)White; Kyle (Jeanie) Hamm; Colby (Lauren) Hamm; Derek (Cayce) Duncan; &amp; Christopher (Kayla) Hamm; great-grandchildren: Rhylan and Laynlei Hamm; Ava Claire and Emmett White; Lily and Bella Hamm; Ellie and Madi Hamm; Paisley and Braylon Kellogg, Kamri and Klara Hamm; and Dean Duncan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, James \u201cTut\u201d Orvil Hamm; infant son, Baby Hamm; mother, Mary Bessie Phillips Duncan; father, Clovis Chappell Duncan; sister, Carmen Whiteside; sister, Lula Hinson; brother, Edwin \u201cPop\u201d Duncan<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The funeral service will be held at Adair Funeral Home, Friday November 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Bro. Elliot Hamm of Riverside Church of Christ will be officiating.
