Sunny Davis Whitt<\/strong><\/em> was born on a beautiful November morning in 1985. When Sunny was born she was like a ray of sunshine just like her name.\u00a0 We learned at an early age she could easily be provoked into becoming a thunderstorm.\u00a0 She was her own person, very independent but a little bundle of dynamite.\u00a0 She loved movies, music and loved to dance.\u00a0 She also loved to spend time doing arts and crafts and working in the yard with flowers. Sunny loved animals, especially her sweet little jojo and bobo doggies. Sunny was surely one of a kind.\u00a0 She had numerous friends far and near, if she liked you, you were blessed – if not you better back away. She knew more about everyone than the newspaper. She was as beautiful inside as she was outside.\u00a0 Sunny was a highly intelligent young lady being the only child in Lewis County Elementary to skip a grade and help tutor other children.\u00a0 She was a real showstopper, both women and men alike were in awe of her beauty and grace.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has left us way too soon on June 29, 2020, so sad of a loss. She is now walking those streets of Gold making new friends and impressing God and the Angels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunny leaves behind her son, Davis Knox Dabbs, eight years old; Her mother, Alice Davis Farris (John); her father, Don Whitt; stepdad, David Pullen; maternal grandparents, Rodney and Kay Davis; sisters, Samantha Whitt Bradley and Shelby Whitt; her aunt, Liz Quillen (Keith) and \u00a0Sandra Davis Morgan; cousins, Kyle Quillen (Laci) and Bryan Perry; nephews, Jackson Brown and, Jett and Jaye Bradley; niece, Jorja Bradley; and her boyfriend, Marshall Underhill.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunny was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, D.C. and Rachel Whitt; Uncle, David Whitt; and maternal great grandparents Leroy and Josephine Davis.<\/span><\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Citizens Bank in a trust set up for Sunny\u2019s son Knox.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with family and friends will be held Friday July 3, 2020 from 11:00-1:00 at Blondy Church in Hohenwald. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.<\/span><\/p>\n
