He was 65. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 20, 2004, at 1:00 PM, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. <strong>Sam Livingston<\/strong>, Pastor of Highland Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial is to follow in the Downey Cemetery. Survivors include his wife <strong>Cherry L. Brown<\/strong> <strong>Beckett<\/strong>, three daughters <strong>Vickie Whitwell<\/strong> and <strong>Jessica Bain<\/strong> of Hohenwald, and Melissa Clayton of Hopkinsville, KY. Also two brothers <strong>Robert Beckett<\/strong> of Elyria, OH, and <strong>Daniel Beckett<\/strong> of Brunswick, OH. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. <strong>Mr. Beckett<\/strong> was born April 14, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio. His parents were the late <strong>Daniel Vale and Vera Elizabeth Roose Beckett.<\/strong> He was a retired Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Agency.
