Sloan<\/em><\/strong>, 82, of Pleasantville, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was born on July 10, 1936, to Sidney &amp; Clarice Sloan in Allen Co., Ky. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He worked in maintenance at Baird Ward Printing for a number of years. He was married to Mary Keen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Survivors include his wife, Mary Keen Sloan of Pleasantville, TN, daughter, Leigh Winsett of Pleasantville, TN, granddaughter, Kayla Pickens of Dyersburg, TN <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Clarice Sloan, and a son, Jeffrey Lee Sloan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 5:30 PM &#8211; 8:00 PM, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 1:00 PM, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Drew Brewer &amp; Tom Gibson officiating.\u00a0 Burial will follow in the Chessor Cemetery, located on Chessor Cemetery Road in Hickman Co., TN.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bobby S.
