{"id":4507,"date":"2020-09-01T16:38:12","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T20:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/?p=4507"},"modified":"2020-09-01T16:38:12","modified_gmt":"2020-09-01T20:38:12","slug":"cummins-vera-lee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/cummins-vera-lee\/","title":{"rendered":"Cummins, Vera Lee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>Vera Lee Cummins<\/em><\/strong> was born April 8, 1933 and died on September 3, 2019 making her life here 86 years 4 months and 25 days.\u00a0 A native of Centerville, she was the daughter of the late Porter and Annie Wells Cunningham.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas &#8220;Pap&#8221; and Joseph Cunningham, sisters, Annie Grimes Delk, Audrey Cunningham, Clembere &#8220;Kim&#8221; Cunningham, Jenny Satterfield, Louise Chavers and Loretta &#8220;Rhet&#8221; McGreen, nieces, Carolyn Cunningham and Gina McGreen, Great-grandson, Tyqurious &#8220;Ty&#8221; Allen,and her former husband and lifelong friend, Norsell Cummins. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her children, Kelvin &#8220;Doug&#8221; Cummins and Karen Cummins-Marks, son-in-law, Thomas Marks Jr. and adopted son, Charles Hampton. Brenda and Joe Scates. Siblings, Rebecca Crosby, William Cunningham, T.
