He was born on May 13, 1934, to Paul and Minnie Mae Spears, in Lewis County.<\/p>\n<p>He was a factory worker at Stauffer Chemical for many years.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include son, Timothy Spears (Angie) of Summertown, TN, brother, Willis Spears (Jane) of Summertown, TN, sister, Vernie Spears of Summertown, TN, five grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents,\u00a0 Paul and Minnie Mae Spears,\u00a0 his wife, Ruth Ann Powell Spears, his brothers, Vincent Spears, Frank Spears, Loyd Spears, Roy Spears,and\u00a0 Albert Spears, and his sister, Margaret Stephens.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019, from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, at the McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Lewis County. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 9, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
