He was 81 years 11 months and 6 days old.\u00a0 He was the son of the late Albert Goetz and Margaret Elizabeth Tiller Goetz.<\/p>\n<p>He was also preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Shephard, grandson Stephen Sunder, and brothers Ralph Sunder, Jack Sunder, and Joe Sunder.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alvitea Pinkerton Sunder of Centerville; sons, Clyde Sunder of Centerville, Robert Sunder of Arizona, and James Sunder of Arizona; daughter, Faye (John) Beasley of Lyles; brother, Chuck Sunder of California; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews as well as, a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Sunder worked mainly in the retail grocery business. He also spent time working at Cracker Barrel, building trailers, and in the construction business.<\/p>\n<p>He was married to his wife for two days shy of 50 years. He had tried so very hard to hang on until then. He loved to be with Alvitea. They were attached at the hip. She says that he was a wonderful husband.<\/p>\n<p>In his younger years, he enjoyed gardening, bowling, going &#8220;camping&#8221;, and hunting. Mrs. Alvitea said he never once let her win at bowling, but they had a good time none the less. They had a good time as long as they were together.\u00a0 As of late he really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. To them, he was &#8220;Paw-Paw&#8221;. His grandchildren say that there was none better than him.\u00a0 His children say he was a great dad, and he will be deeply missed by them.<\/p>\n<p>A Visitation will be held on 29 Nov 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM &#8211; 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home \u2013 Hickman County.\u00a0\u00a0 Funeral Services will be held on 30 Nov 2019 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home \u2013 Hickman County.\u00a0 Mr. Bill McDonald will conduct services for Mr. Sunder.\u00a0 Burial will be held in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Raymond Howard Sunder, better known as Ray and to many as &#8220;Paw-Paw&#8221; was born on December 19, 1937, in Pittsburg, PA and passed away on November 25, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee.
