She passed away on December 12, 2019, in Bon Aqua. She was 92 years 2 months and 12 days old.\u00a0 She was the daughter of the late Clifford Kelley and Esther Williams Kelley.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Zalabak, and daughter, Loretta Zalabak.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Capps of Bon Aqua. Son, Charles E. Wilson of Dickson. 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Special Caregivers and friends Wanda, Debbie, and Kaylie. As well as many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mrs. Zalabak worked as a sewing machine operator.\u00a0 She enjoyed sewing, playing guitar, singing, and golf. She would play the guitar and sing gospel songs at nursing homes for the residents. She liked to watch golf, especially Tiger Woods. She was a huge fan of his.\u00a0 She also loved serving breakfast in the Country Kitchen. She would go in the mornings and pass out silverware and coffee. She did not get paid for this, she just loved doing it and spending time with the regulars there. They all called her &#8220;Granny&#8221;. She did this for several years until she was no longer able.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be held on 13 Dec 2019 from 4:00 PM &#8211; 8:00 PM and 14 Dec 2019 from 10:00 AM &#8211; 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home \u2013 Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be held on 14 Dec 2019 at 1:00 PM, McDonald Funeral Home \u2013 Hickman County.\u00a0 Bill McDonald will conduct services for Mrs. Zalabak.\u00a0 Burial will be held in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elsie Wilson Zalabak was born on September 30, 1927, in the Pleasantville Community of Hickman County.
