He was surrounded by his son and his loving family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his wife, Tracy (Massie ) Gray; sons, Jerry Wayne Gray Jr. and William Tommie Gray; a granddaughter, Sarah; sisters, Barbara (Bobby) Ashworth, Lois Harrington, Abbie Gray, Judy (Gabe ) Cuevas, all of Hohenwald; brothers, William Gray of Sylacauga, Alabama and Michael Gray of Hohenwald; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also had a friend, Kenneth Stanfill, who helped him during his illness; and his little doggie, LuLu, whom he loved very much.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Tommie Gray and Birdie Inez Staggs Gray of Columbia; sisters, Linda Gray Varnadoe of Brooksville, Florida and Dedra Maureen Gray of Savannah; brother, Jackie Gray of Columbia; and niece, Lisa Gray of Sylacauga Alabama.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved reading his Bible. One of his favorite things to do was eat a good ole homemade country meal which consisted of turnip greens, beans, potatoes, cornbread and a cold glass of milk followed by a bowl of ice cream!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jerry Gray was born on March 28, 1954 and passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.\u00a0\u00a0Jerry was a resident of Hohenwald, Tennessee.\u00a0 No other information was posted with this obituary.
