Ronald Dale Gossett<\/strong><\/em> was born on April 26, 1970 in Dickson, Tennessee and passed away on August 7, 2020 in Columbia, Tennessee. He was 50 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is the son of Gary Thomas Gossett and Helen Slate Shanes.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is survived by his father Gary Thomas Gossett (Wanda) of Lyles. His mother Helen Slate Shanes of Charlotte. His wife of 10 years Patricia Bowman Gossett of Nunnelly. Daughters Tabitha Morgan of Lyles and Whitney Johnston of Centerville. Grandchildren: Lindsey, Ezra, Piper, and Riley. Sisters Lisa Gossett of Charlotte, and Tina Gossett of Nunnelly. Brother Barry Gossett of Bon Aqua. Uncle Terry. Aunts Janie Gilbert and Jean Hutcherson. Many nieces and nephews that he loved. As well as a whole host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ronnie worked the last several years as an equipment operator for the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was an outdoors man and has been from his youth. He was ready and willing to go hunting and fishing with anyone at the drop of a hat. He liked to be on the duck river fishing for rock fish, and small mouth.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also loved to cook. He enjoyed watching cooking shows, and would make supper most of the time so his food could be cooked “his way”. Ronnie was great at frying up the fish that he caught.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with the family will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home \u2013 Hickman County on\u00a0 August 9, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.\u00a0 Services will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home \u2013 Hickman County on\u00a0 August 10, 2020 beginning at 11:00 AM with Bill McDonald officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery, Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
