She was 79 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Janie was born November 24, 1940 to Bonnie M. and Nannie Lou Brewer in Gordonsburg, TN. On May 28, 1960, she married the love of her life, John Ellis. They just celebrated 60 years of marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her husband John Ellis, 2000 Reserve Blvd, Spring Hill, TN, her sons, Mike (Nancy) Ellis of Columbia, TN, and Steve (Cindy) Ellis of Franklin, TN; and her daughters, Karen (David) Jackson of Virginia Beach, VA and Cheryl (Steve) Hopper of Alpharetta, GA. Janie also has 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Robert Brewer of Greenwood, IN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 PM. Following the Funeral Service, Burial will take place in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The family asks that all those in attendance to please wear a mask and to avoid hugging and shaking hands. A limited supply of masks will be available for those who may not have one. There will also be a limited seating capacity per the family\u2019s request.
