Mrs. Baker was born on May 16, 1940, in Lewis County to Jack and Francis Brown. She married Melvin Brown and they resided in Hohenwald for a number of years. She worked at Dana until her retirement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by an adopted son, Timothy Sood of Frankfort, IN, one nephew, Bobby Brown of Hohenwald, and one very close friend, Mishell Brewer of Collinwood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 1:00 PM, in the Downey Cemetery.\u00a0 Brother James Mitchell will officiate.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ama Lou Baker, 79, of Collinwood, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Wayne County Nursing and Rehab.
