He was born on 1 Oct 1986 in Lancaster, PA\u00a0 to Joseph &amp; Beth Landis.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">His family stated that he was the light of their world, he would instantly light up any room he was in. Despite his disabilities he lived an active life. He LOVED music, especially that of the 80&#8217;s &amp; 90&#8217;s.\u00a0 Some of his favorite songs which will be played on the day of his funeral are <\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">I&#8217;m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Take On Me by A-Ha <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">One More Time by Daft Punk, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Cottoneyed Joe<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>T<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">he family said it was instinctual for him to move and dance whenever these songs played. He touched many lives and the joy he brought to those he loved will last forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his father, Joseph Landis; mother, Beth Landis of Hohenwald; brothers, Jeremy Landis of Hohenwald and Joseph Landis II of Arizona; sisters, Erica Landis of Hohenwald and Savannah Whitehead of Hohenwald;\u00a0 nieces &amp; nephews,\u00a0 Rufus Scott Beard Jr., Nathaniel Yarborough, Hunter Jase Beard, Shiloah Whitehead, Dallas Whitehead, Scarlett Lillian Coarlie Cupple, Adina Landis &amp; soon to be baby niece\/nephew Landis.\u00a0 He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins in Pennsylvania.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A visitation with the family will be held\u00a0 Wednesday, 4 Mar 2020 from 10:30 AM &#8211; 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Lewis County.\u00a0 A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 1:00 PM.\u00a0 Burial will be at Lewis County Memorial Gardens, Hohenwald, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nathaniel Scott Landis, age 33 of Hohenwald, TN passed away at his residence on Wednesday, 26 February 2020.
