In this picture, my grandmother is wearing a Native Amer. dress and her hair is in 2 braids. She also has a bead necklace on. I am at a lose as to which nation she belongs. Her mother was Nancy “Nann” HANKINS and father James William DANIEL. He was from Madison Co. I think that she got her Native Amer. heritage, through her mother, as tradition dictates. I also have a picture of Lucinda’s sister,Alice HEN SON, in a dress that appears to be of Native Amer. in nature. Is there anyone who can help me with this, by looking at the style of these dresses?
